DIAL M FOR MURDOCH - Aaron signs two-year contract

SFA Challenge Cup Final Man of the Match Aaron Murdoch has agreed a new two-year contract to stay with BSC Glasgow.

The 22-year-old right-back was outstanding for the club last season after his move from East Kilbride FC.

Now the former Hearts and Brechin City defender is delighted to have extended his time at BSC after the thrill of being an SFA Challenge Cup winner two seasons on the trot.

Aaron said: “Once I knew Kingy and Gigz wanted me to stay on there was nothing else in my mind to be honest.

“They have always believed in me as a player and they understand what makes me tick.

“The club is in a great position to progress now on the back of the Cup win and I just want to be a part of that.”

The coaching staff were delighted to see Murdoch join the growing band of players who are now committed to the club until May 2017.

And assistant-manager Craig Young said: “Since the first day we signed Aaron I have loved his attitude to football.

“He gives every shred he has in every training session and every match and he’s the sort of competitor you want to work with.

“Aaron is one of the first players every coach we face mentions after the games, that says it all.”
