FERRIS WHEELS INTO BSC
BSC GLASGOW have clinched the signing of their former Morton loan strike star Aidan Ferris on a permanent deal that will keep him with the club until May 2017.
The 18-year-old ex-Cappielow hitman was released by the League One champions this summer and has been considering his football options since.
Now he has settled on another Scottish Sun Lowland League adventure at BSC where he scored five goals in eight games in a sparkling loan spell last season.
Fez was hugely popular in the dressing-room in his time at the club and he admitted: “The fact that I enjoyed my training and my football so much when I was on loan at BSC was a big factor in my decision.
“It’s a great club and my dad always told me he saw me playing my football with a smile on my face here.
“So it’s great to be back on a permanent deal this time and I’m looking forward to getting back to business.
“I got back into the first team picture at Morton when I returned from my BSC loan spell but they decided to let me go and you have to take the blow and get going again. That’s what I intend to do here.”
Ironically, Aidan faces an early clash with his old team when Morton face BSC in a pre-season friendly at Lochburn Park on Tuesday July 7 (7pm kick-off).
