Ross McKinnon Signs for BSC Glasgow

BSC GLASGOW have clinched the signing of gifted Ross McKinnon from League Two side Clyde.
The 22-year-old former Motherwell, Dumbarton, Elgin City and Alloa star played as a trialist in Saturday's thrilling 4-4 draw with Dalbeattie Star and signed his permanent deal last night.
McKinnon, who also had a spell with SC Heerenveen in Holland, is delighted to have his future settled and he said: "I trained with East Kilbride FC all last season when I was at Elgin and got to know the BSC coaches Iain King, Craig Young and Ally Graham really well.
"I loved the training there so when the chance to work with them in the Lowland League came around I was convinced this was the right choice.
"They have big plans for the team and it's great to be a part of that at the outset.
"I really enjoyed my first game in the holding midfield role, I just need to get more matches under my belt now and I'll be flying."
BSC head coach Iain King has watched McKinnon settle into the squad quickly in a whirlwind week after his release was agreed at Bully Wee.
And he said: "When Ross trained with us at EKFC I would constantly joke with him that he really should be playing for us.
"There's a real family tie there as his uncle Rab - who went on to play for Motherwell and Scotland - was a team-mate of Craig and myself when we were kids.
"Ross' grandad Robert was my childhood coach and mentor and I have a real vested interest in seeing him do well.
"He is a great player and a terrific boy from a great football family who I feel will be a major figure over the coming seasons."
