BSC Glasgow loan striker Aiden Ferris recalled Greenock Morton
BSC Glasgow loan striker Aiden Ferris has been recalled by parent club Greenock Morton as they gear up for the League One promotion run-in.
Fez came off the bench in Saturday's 3-2 win at Stenhousemuir and Cappielow head coach Jim Duffy will now keep him involved with the first-team squad.
It ends three productive months in the yellow and blue for the 18-year-old front man who scored five goals in eight games in the Lowland League and showed his promise every time he wore our jersey.
Aiden said: "The boys at BSC have been great with me and I am delighted with how the loan spell went.
"It was great to play in competitive games and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of matches like that brilliant 4-4 draw with Dalbeattie Star.
"Saturday was my second time involved with the first team and I just want to kick on from here."
BSC head coach Iain King revealed the loan had suited everyone and will help strengthen links between the two clubs.
He said: "Fez has been a pleasure to work with and it was great that our strikers' coach Ally Graham was at Stenny to see him complete the journey back to first-team level.
"Ally has worked really hard with him to back up the education he gets at Morton and he has been great for us.
"That's the nature of loans, though, and with Chris McDougall a long-term injury we had Aiden at the right time. We now have good developing young strikers at the club and we move on with them."
