BSC Glasgow Under-20s head coach Mark Adams hailed his new-look side’s early season progress as Premiership Jags edged them out in a nine-goal thriller at Scotstoun on Saturday morning.

Goals from Dan Harrigan, Gerry O’Donnell, Evans Lamboh and Luke Murphy meant BSC gave Thistle’s side a stern test and there were a host of promising displays from the team who will complete in the Lowland League’s Under-20 set-up this season.

Already keeper Joe Wilton, defender Ross Geddes and midfielder Riccardo Corrieri have been heavily involved in the top team pre-season and Mark was pleased to see others stake a claim against Thistle.

The Under-20s head coach told “I am really pleased with the performance and the style of play considering we have only had two training sessions together.

“We have plenty to work on but overall it was a really positive display.

“Thistle have trained full-time for the last two weeks and that puts things in perspective for us.”
