BSC GLASGOW midfielder Ross McKinnon looks set for six weeks out
BSC GLASGOW midfielder Ross McKinnon looks set for six weeks out after damaging his medial knee ligaments in the 4-1 bounce game win over Edusport Academy.
The gifted 22-year-old was settling in superbly to life at BSC but was left on crutches after a bad landing at Pirie Park and is now starting on the long road back.
Ross sighed: “I was loving it and really start to get going again after leaving Clyde but I am in a positive frame of mind.
“It could have been a lot worse – I feared it was my cruciate – and I just have to concentrate on the rehab now.”
Ross joins striker Chris McDougall on the injury list with Dougs looking set for an operation on groin trouble that has halted his campaign.
There is better news, though, for 20-year-old midfielder David Cameron after his medial ligament damage suffered on his debut in the 3-1 loss at Vale of Leithen.
The big man returned to full training this week and should be in contention for a place in the squad soon.
