Matchday Info: Lochee United

Firstly, thank you for choosing BSC Glasgow for your Sunday afternoon football needs. We understand that you have a lot of choice with, let me just check, Liverpool vs Spurs on the telly but we’re delighted that you’ll be joining us at the Indodrill for our William Hill Scottish Cup Second Round replay with Lochee United.

Admission

Season tickets are not valid for Sunday (sorry!) and there are a couple of differences to admission.

General: £7
Concessions: £3

(Concessions for this match are Over 65s, Under 18s, Forces, Emergency Services, Students)

Pre-Match

When you get to the Indodrill you’ll find the best snack bar in Scottish football! However, if you’re looking for a pre-match ‘refreshment’ then we suggest the Thistle Bar on Junction Place, less than a ten minute walk from the stadium.

Getting to The Indodrill Stadium

By Car: Putting the postcode FK10 1RY into your car or mobile device will give you the best directions to the ground. There is parking available immediately adjacent to the stadium or, if that is full, try the car park at the back which is accessible by taking the first road to the right (Bruce Street) just after the Bathroom Centre.

By Train: The Indodrill is a short walk from Alloa railway station. Exit the station via the Asda car park, cross Whins Road and walk down Clackmannan Road. The ground will be on your left hand side.

By Bus: The local buses 8, 8A, 28, 60, C1, H1, H2, and MA1 stop directly opposite the ground, coming the other way (from the centre of Alloa) there is a bus stop outside Kwik Fit which services the ground.

Disabled Supporter Information

If you are a wheelchair user and require adapted access to the match, please make yourself known to the turnstile operator who will be able to facilitate this.

Away Supporter Information

Please enter via the home turnstile. Large travelling supports may be more comfortable using the terracing behind the goals and the faraway stand but there is no formal segregation.

Coach/bus parking is available in the rear car park, please see above for access details.

Ground Regulations

We’re not going to bore you with all of the ground regulations here but they can be found here and will be strictly enforced on matchday. You can also find them in the back of our special edition programme which will be available.

BSC Glasgow Appoint Club Ambassador

BSC Glasgow are delighted to announce that our eSports Partner Derek, AKA Mozza Gaming has been appointed as the club’s first ever ambassador.

He has been working with us for two seasons creating content in the Football Manager video game. By throwing himself into a passionate community of fellow gamers and engaging an audience of thousands with his easy-going and approachable personality, Derek has become one of the premier Football Manager Twitch streamers.

Derek AKA Mozza pictured with General Manager George Fraser at the Indodrill.

He is a hardcore BSC Glasgow supporter and spends a significant amount of time talking up the work that we do to his audience and, to be quite honest with you, anyone who will listen. We love his passion and we feel that this is the best way to reward him.

Derek said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as an ambassador. Having supported and worked with BSC over the last couple of years, it means a lot that George and those involved considered me suitable to further represent the club.”

General Manager George Fraser said: “Ever since Mozza joined us as our eSports Partner we have been appreciative of the extra publicity and support he has generated through the online community. We see this as a way of thanking him for his work, and more importantly his commitment to the club.”

£10 Shirt Sponsorship Raffle

It’s almost pay day so why not use the last tenner in your bank to get right behind BSC Glasgow this season… literally.

We’re giving two lucky businesses… or anyone really… the chance to win back of shirt sponsorships on our home and away kits next season (which will be the same as last year’s kits – surprise reveal!).

All you have to do is purchase an entry and we’ll draw the winners on Saturday 3rd August.

Get involved! It’s cheaper than a salad some places…

Season Ticket? £25!

That’s right folks, we’ve officially lost it.

This season we will be selling season tickets for £25.

The ticket covers every home Lowland League match AND cup ties (but not the Scottish Cup, we’re not that far gone). Since we’ve frozen our ticket prices for 2019/20 (£7/£3/U16s Free dontcha know), that means that you could save a staggering £80.

That’s £80 you could have in your pocket to take that special someone out for dinner, or adopt a dog or something.

Buy it here…

Sponsor A Player for a Fiver

THIS PROMOTION IS NOW CLOSED

BSC Glasgow are delighted to announce that we think sponsoring players and staff is a) too expensive and b) doesn’t come with enough risk.

That’s why, for 2019/20, we’re giving YOU the chance to sponsor a player or staff member for the princely sum of £5. Yes, that’s right. Five pounds sterling.

Pay your fiver below and your name (or the name of the person or business you’d like to be involved – we’re not fussy, but keep it clean) will be entered into a draw for a random player or staff member.

You might get a top goalscorer… you might get a midfield maestro… you might get nothing, or worse, you might get Match Reporter Martin.

You’ll be featured alongside the player or staff member on our website, in our occasional programmes in 2019/20 and on the player’s goal cards/gifs for the season. We literally can’t say fairer than that.

What’re you waiting for? It costs less than one of those expensive beers you like so much…

While you’re at it, you might want to get a season ticket for £25… we’ve lost the plot. Get involved.

Opportunity: Matchday Photographer

Do you have an interest in sports photography, or maybe you want to try something different…?

We’re looking to take on a Matchday Photographer to capture the weird and wonderful world of Lowland League football at BSC Glasgow.

We encourage people who want to try something out of the ordinary. You won’t just be taking photos of the match, we’d love you to flex your creative muscle, capture behind the scenes shots, and really get experimental to show the fun and weird side of Scottish football.

This is a PAID position and we’d love to hear from you. Please email our Media & Communications Manager Michael with a wee bit about you and some examples of your work.

(Please bear in mind that, hilariously enough, we play in Alloa. We’ll do what we can to help you with lifts etc. where we can though.)

Staff Update: Michael Moore & Richie Salveta

The club can tonight confirm that Assistant Coaches Michael Moore and Richie Salveta have decided to leave BSC Glasgow FC.

Both are leaving due to personal reasons and leave with our best wishes and thanks for their part in our successes over the last two and a half seasons.

Richie and (Stranraer Legend) Michael have been incredible in their support work with manager Stephen Swift, are both firm favourites both in the dressing room and among our fans, and will be greatly missed around the club.

General Manager George Fraser said: “I would like to thank both Richie and Michael for their contribution over the last two seasons, and we are sorry to see them go. Both have contributed massively to the club’s success during that period, and will be a hard act to follow.”

We are pleased to announce that Club Captain Ross McMillan will be stepping up to a combined Player/Coach role for the 2019/20 season.

Boardroom Changes at BSC Glasgow FC

Following this week’s meeting of the board of BSC Glasgow FC, Steve Prince has decided to step down as Chairperson of the club.

Steve has been a vital part of the club’s development both in the youth structure which has been running since 2004 and since the inception of the Lowland League side in 2014/15. He will be staying on as a shareholder in the club as well as Chairperson of the charity PCST. We thank him for his contribution to our successes.

George Ross has been elected by the board as the club’s new Chairperson. The club’s General Manager George Fraser said: “We would like to welcome George to his new role, and I look forward to working alongside him. I would like to thank Steve for his time in the role, and it’s testament to his work just how far the club as come in a short space of time.”
