Recap
It was a three goal advantage for BSC Glasgow as a brace from Ross Lyon and another goal from Ryan Tierney were able to cement victory away at Raydale Park.
The opening ten minutes found Gretna 2008 controlling the majority of possession and giving BSC flashbacks to our opening game against Dalbeattie Star. Fortunately, it only took until the 12th minute for BSC Glasgow to make the breakthrough – Ryan Tierney went down under an unnecessary challenge by Jack Patrick and the referee immediately pointed to the spot. Ross Lyon stepped up and found the back of the net to make it 1-0 for BSC Glasgow.

A second nearly came only a few minutes later when Gretna’s Lewis McGrattan came within inches from scoring an own goal. Following the danger, there was a stramash in the box for BSC, however, the back line was there to clear the danger.
It only took until the 26th minute for BSC Glasgow to double their advantage – new keeper David Wilson, on loan from Clyde, played a fantastic ball to Ryan Tierney which allowed him to evade the Gretna defence and slip the ball under Aaron Taylor.

HALF TIME | GRETNA 2008 0 -2 BSC GLASGOW
As half time approached, Ryan Tierney took his place on the bench to allow Jamie Hamilton a run at the Gretna defence. Only ten minutes after half time, Andy Geggan picked up a yellow card.
In the 56th minute, BSC Glasgow saw their worries evaporate as Ross Lyon made a terrific run after a great through ball from Darren Christie. Lyon controlled well and was able to slot home into the back of the net.

In only the 69th minute, Jamie Hamilton played off Darren Christie but his tremendous shot was only able to smack off the post.
Ross Lindsay and Conor McBrearty came on to put the game to bed. Despite a number of point blank attempts, BSC Glasgow could not be happier in terms of the result and we hope it continues.
