Lowland League Preview – East Kilbride (H)

It’s our second midweek fixture of the season as we host East Kilbride at the Indodrill Stadium hoping for our sixth consecutive league win of the Lowland League season.

Stuart Malcolm’s men visit Alloa looking to arrest a stuttering start to the season, with last season’s runaway Champions sitting nine points adrift of league leaders Bonnyrigg Rose. Kilby come into this one with the advantage of a weekend off after their league match with The Spartans was postponed.

Their last outing was the weekend before where they came back from a goal down to run out 3-2 winners.

Defeats to Civil Service Strollers and Caledonian Braves will have dented the K-Park men’s confidence but they will be determined to close the gap on us with a victory under the lights.

After our 3-0 victory over University of Stirling with a slew of first team players unavailable, it’s anyone’s guess how Swifty will line up for this crucial fixture. Declan Hughes, Robbie McNab, Ross McMillan, Ross Smith and Jamie Mills were all out on Saturday with the players who came into the team performing admirably.
