BSC Glasgow FC are delighted to announce the signing of sought after striker Tom Bentham for the remainder of the 2017/18 Scottish Lowland Football League season.
Tom started his career with Rochdale and has enjoyed spells with Maine Road, Hyde United, Stalybridge Celtic and has turned out for Sydney FC and North Shore Mariners in Australia.
Tom told us: “Since I moved up to Scotland I’ve been looking to get back playing and I’m really pleased to be signing with BSC Glasgow. There’s so much left to play for in the Lowland League and I can’t wait to get started.”
Manager Stephen Swift is delighted with his new signing as we enter crunch time in the Lowland League. “Tom came in for a couple of training sessions and did really well and added something different to the team. With Danny’s [Stoney] injury we’ve been looking to bring in another striker and to get an experienced player like Tom at this point in the season could make all the difference in the run-in.”
Tom will be in the squad as we take on Civil Service Strollers on March 24th. Come along to The Indodrill Stadium and see him pull on the yellow jersey for the first time!
